ROGUE VALLEY LAVENDER FARMS

There are many beautiful sights to behold in the Rogue Valley — mountains, meadows, rivers and monuments, just to name a few. But the aromatic, vibrant and sprawling fields of purple lavender must be included on your bucket list. The sights and scents you’ll encounter at local lavender fields are a delightful experience for the senses, and the best way to spend a sunny summer day. If it’s your first time visiting the Rogue Valley’s lavender fields, we have compiled all the information needed to make your travels simple and easy.

THE 2023 SOUTHERN OREGON LAVENDER FESTIVAL

If you want a close-up experience of local lavender farms, then you can't miss the Southern Oregon Lavender Festival. With dates in June and July, you have plenty of opportunities to visit the Rogue Valley’s beautiful lavender farms.

The festival marks the time of year when these fragrant crops are in full bloom. There will be craft classes, arts and craft vendors, U-pick lavender flowers, lavender products, potted lavender plants, essential oil distillation, in addition to local bands and food vendors.  Entry to the festival is free but bring money for local lavender ice cream! It’s the ultimate summer treat. There will also be a variety of lovely lavender products to entice your senses.

June 23th - 25th, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.   +  July 14th -16th , 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

THE LAVENDER TRAIL

 

Did you know there’s an entire trail dedicated to exploring local lavender farms? The Southern Oregon Lavender Trail is a group of lavender farmers who created a unique attraction in the Applegate Valley. There are numerous events and lavender-inspired products at each farm, and no two are the same! The trail includes six lavender farms, a nursery and a demonstration garden. During the festival weekends in June and July, make sure to visit all of the Rogue Valley’s beautiful lavender farms.
